-
Q: How do I make a Factory reset/Clean boot?
A: A clean boot can be made by first shutting down the unit completely (this is done by holding the power button pressed down until the light goes out). When the unit has been shut down, you then hold down the Left soft key (-) together with the Enter/Action button; hold these pressed down and then press the power button once more. You should now see a Clean Boot message in the display.

Q: My unit does not boot up even if I connect the charger.
A: The system can only boot up if the battery capacity is above 5%. So keep charging for a few more minutes and it should boot up without any issues.
-
Q: What is the difference between "suspend mode" and "power-off mode"?
A: When you "suspend" the unit by pressing the power button once, it will still keep the modems inside the unit running (this will cause a battery drain). To completely power-off the unit, you will need to hold the power button pressed down until it beeps and the light goes out.
-
Q: Is it best to store my unit with the batteries in or out of the device if the units won't be used for a while?
A: It's best to store batteries separately, charged to 40-50 percent, in a colder environment - 0 C to 10 C.
-
Q: Should I charge my battery every day, even if it isn't out of power?
A: Since today's batteries no longer have a "memory effect," harming battery efficiency with daily charging is no longer an issue. You can recharge them as often as you'd like.
-
Q: Is there any reason to run a battery all the way down before recharging?
A: No, there's not! For the best performance, avoid completely running down your lithium cell, and charge when you reach 5 percent battery remaining.
-
Q: How long should I expect a battery to last with standard use? What are the signs that I should get a new battery?
A: Expected lifetime is approximately 500 charges. Typically, an old battery will drain very quickly from 100 percent to about a half charge.
